Uwe Handmann is a Professor of Neuroinformatics at Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences (HRW) in Bottrop and Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. He serves as the Director of the Institute for Computer Science and the Scientific Director of the zdi centers in Bottrop and Oberhausen (zdi - "Future through Innovation"), as well as the competence center mint4u. Additionally, he is a appointed member of the zdi strategy group in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the Courage project, he supports the initiation of contacts with schools in the Ruhr region and contributes his expertise in the field of intelligent data analysis.
