Lukas Erle studied Human-Technology Interaction at the University of Applied Sciences Ruhr West (Hochschule Ruhr West, HRW). After completing his Master's degree in Applied Cognitive and Media Sciences at the University of Duisburg-Essen, he joined the Human Factors and Gender Studies team (Prof. Dr. Sabrina Eimler) at the HRW. His research focuses on computer assisted decision making and the impact of diversity in technology perception, acceptance and use. As a member of the RuhrBots team he designs experiments involving social robotics applications in public spaces. In his role as a lecturer, he teaches Applied Statistics and Media Psychology. He is currently pursuing his PhD, investigating how AI-generated misinformation affects stereotyping in society and technology. To the COURAGE project he especially contributes his expertise in interdisciplinary teaching and research.
