De Semir, Vladimir

Journalist and university professor specialized in scientific and medical communication, he is coordinator of the Journalism and Science Dissemination section of the Master in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) and coordinator of the Scientific Journalism module of the Master in Journalism Barcelona-NY of the University of Barcelona. He has been Deputy Director of the newspaper La Vanguardia (1983-1997); Associate Professor of Science Journalism at the Faculty of Communication of the UPF (1993-2015); Councillor of the City of Knowledge of the Barcelona City Council (1999-2003); President of the International Network of Public Communication of Science & Technology PCST (2000-2004) and founder of the Catalan Association of Science Communication; of the Observatory of Science Communication (UPF).
