Synopsis

In a single day, Gloria and Lorena, two Colombian caregivers, transform the routine of a household into an improvised workshop to finish a quinceañera dress, facing emotional hardships and challenges at work while navigating between their own desires and the care of those who depend on them.

Project description

Cómo se hace un vestido explores the invisible sacrifices of domestic and care workers, highlighting their resilience and the small moments of joy that sustain them. It is a story of friendship, desire, and dignity in everyday life.

After participating in the Acció Curts programme by Dones Visuals, the project relies on the support of the production company Luki Media. It is currently in the script development phase.
