Synopsis

Biel, a young man from Barcelona, has been diagnosed with an illness he has not yet processed. In denial, he proposes a summer trip to Santa Cruz de la Serós (Huesca) with Abril and Gerard. During the journey, the emotional distance between the three friends becomes palpable.

All three face this journey with the desire to connect with everything that had been there and made them feel good. Dies d’estiu i pluja is a feature-length fiction film about the desperate search for a way to share with others that which torments us.

Project description

Due to its theme and format, focused on friendship between young people, this work could be considered akin to coming of age films that have previously been promoted by universities, and thus could easily be inserted into the Catalan audiovisual ecosystem.

ARSENAL ENTER intervention

Dies d'estiu i de pluja was presented to ENTER with practically the entire feature film finished. They have established contact with the production company The New Flesh that is currently managing the project. ENTER is helping with subtitling and mentorships with professionals to facilitate the roadmap for the film to be distributed in laboratories and festivals.
