Every summer, a community reunites at a campsite where play is a way of life. When Raquel returns after many years, she reconnects with her inner child and discovers a new way to connect with her son Leo.

Project description

Avancé is a fiction short film that explores play as a shared language within a campsite community. The project reflects on adulthood, the loss of playfulness, and the possibility of reconnecting with that childish spirit.

After months of research on the role of play as we grow older, the project has taken shape as a short film positioned between fiction and a form of observation akin to documentary.
