Synopsis

The Year is 2060. In a dystopian future, Laura, a solitary mother living in an isolated rural house, faces an unbearable dilemma: choosing between protecting her son Daniel, who is both persecuted by an oppressive system and involved in radical activities, or maintaining her own moral principles. The story explores the limits of family bonds and the ambiguous answer to what is “right” within the blurred boundary between good and evil in an increasingly tense world.

Project description

Sota terra is a fictional short film situated within the thriller, suspense, and dystopian science fiction genres. Shot digitally and in Catalan, the project proposes an intimate narrative within a futuristic universe to reflect on extreme decisions in contexts of repression.

The project is currently in post-production, with an estimated duration of 15 to 20 minutes.
