Project description
Nuestro hogar is an immersive work in virtual reality that addresses child sexual abuse (CSA) from a dreamlike and testimonial perspective. The experience follows Clara, a 60-year-old woman who is waiting for the start of a court hearing. Perched on this threshold, the user travels alongside her through a fragmented past and travels through symbolic landscapes that reveal the multiple edges that allow CSA (as a structural and systematic problem) to persist.
The proposal has been developed from artistic research and theoretical reflection, seeking to examine the construction of a 360° symbolic space that places the participant as an active witness within an intimate story. Through non-invasive interaction strategies, spaced sound design and a narrative structure based on memory, the project seeks to generate an experience that fosters processes of understanding, empathy and critical reflection.
ARSENAL-ADVANCED intervention
Promotion among institutions and comprehensive support for the project in its post-production, exhibition and distribution phases, promoting its projection and connection with industry and innovation sectors. This support would include strategic and legal advice, guidance on testing processes (room equipment and VR), as well as providing resources and support in the exhibition assembly if it is developed.
