Bruna is a young woman unable to experience sexual pleasure due to vaginismus. The frustration of not experiencing sex like others leads her to attempt it forcefully.

Liminal is a dramatic fictional short film that seeks to address sexuality from the perspective of a young woman. It presents a raw and uncomfortable side of sex, immersing the viewer in the protagonist’s intimacy.

Through an intimate approach to the body and pain, the film accompanies her sensations, allowing the audience to feel her frustration and anxiety. There is a political aim to unsettle the viewer with images they are not used to seeing.

ARSENAL ENTER intervention

The project arrived at ENTER in post-production, while the team is considering a possible continuation in other formats. Mentorship, professional guidance, and careful selection of calls and opportunities have been key for its development.
