The SIBE-Sociedad de Etnomusicología is the main association of ethnomusicologists from Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Among its scientific publications, the journal Cuadernos de Etnomusicología has as its main purpose the dissemination of the research carried out in the regions covered by the association. On the occasion of the activities that Musical Bridges organized last may for the dissemination of Hindustani classical music, the Musical Bridges researcher Rafael Caro Repetto wrote a report about such activities for the last issue of Cuadernos de Etnomusicología, where he also presented the goals and preliminary results of the project. Therefore, this article is a good opportunity for the dissemination of Musical Bridges among the Spanish and Portuguese speaking ethnomusicological community.
