MANGANELLI, ANTON GIULIO
Anton-Giulio Manganelli is Associate Professor at EADA Business School in Barcelona and Director of the MSc in Pharma & Biotech Management. He is also an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Research in Health and Economics (CRES) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics.
His research focuses on competition policy and industrial organization, with particular emphasis on anticompetitive practices and strategic firm behaviour. His work examines cartels, abuse of dominant position, pay-for-delay agreements in pharmaceutical markets, common ownership, entry deterrence, pricing strategies, crisis cartels, algorithmic intermediation, and the competitive implications of patent donation and participation.
Anton-Giulio has published in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Health Economics, and Information Economics and Policy. Alongside his academic work, he has acted as an economic consultant and expert in competition and litigation matters, at both EU and national levels.
