Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona and Associate Researcher at the Centre for Research in Economics and Health (CRES) and at the Barcelona Economic Analysis Team (BEATO-UB).

He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona. Author of several scientific articles, books and book chapters on health economics research and has participated in numerous national and international competitive research projects with public and private funding and has received research funding from the ICS, WHO and the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs.
