Junior Researcher at the Center for Research in Economics and Health (CRES).

Catalina joins CRES to investigate the impact of budgetary cuts in the healthcare system on the health outcomes of newborns.

Her main area of interest is Applied Econometrics oriented to the Impact Evaluation of Public Policies, followed by other branches of Economics, such as Behavioral Economics, Institutional Economics and Development Economics.

She holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Public Policy, awarded by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (M.Sc in Economics and Business Administration, 2017). Previously graduated in Economics and Political Science at the University of Münster, Germany (B.A. in Economics and Political Science, 2016).
