Rocío Sola (1992) graduated in History of Art at the University of Granada and then she completed the Master's Degree in Comparative Studies of Literature, Art and Thought at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She is currently a predoctoral scholarship holder (FPU, MECD) and she studies the symbolic construction of Alfred Kubin’s work, the Austrian illustrator. She has also dedicated herself to other authors who are located in the field of the literature and the art of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. She has been particularly interested in visionary literature and artistic creations linked to altered states of consciousness. She has participated as a speaker in different national and international congresses around these issues.
