Moro Tornese, Sebastián

Sebastián F. Moro Tornese has completed his PhD at the University of London (Royal Holloway College), where under the supervision of Anne Sheppard wrote his doctoral thesis on the philosophy of music in Proclus and the notion of cosmic harmony in his commentaries on the Timaeus and the Republic. He has carried out postdoctoral projects with a grant from the Association of the Haas Library and a grant from the Eugenio Trías Center of Philosophical Studies. His publications focus on the interaction between philosophy, music and art in late-ancient and medieval philosophy, especially in Neoplatonism, in Plotinus and Proclus, and its later reception. In addition to his work as associate professor at UPF, he has been a visiting lecturer at the University of London (RHUL) and professor in one of the Master's programs at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
