ARSENAL

ARSENAL is an ecosystem for innovation and knowledge transfer within the UPF Faculty and Department of Communication. It builds on a tradition of nearly three decades of supporting practical projects and applied research emerging from predoctoral and postdoctoral investigations, as well as from undergraduate and master’s degree students.
ARSENAL supports project teams throughout the creative and production process, providing the conditions necessary for their work to enter the professional field. Its goal is to help projects develop beyond their academic stage, reach their audiences, and generate a social and a cultural impact.

We support the innovation processes of entities, institutions and social actors through participatory methodologies that integrate students, specialised UPF research staff and members of the organisations. We facilitate knowledge transfer by connecting research, creation and professional practice, and we promote the prototyping of innovative solutions to address their challenges.
