We have granted access to several spaces at the Communications Campus of the Pompeu Fabra University, in Barcelona's Poblenou Quartier. This localisation allows us to strengthen relationships with the student and research community, establishing synergies with the University and, in particular, with the Music Technology Group, based in the same campus.

Diffusion

For our dissemination activities we normally use the Campus' facilities, specially the Aranyó Hall, where we host our regular Phonos Concert Series, as well as other spaces where we organise lectures, workshops and discussion panels.

Creation

Phonos also benefits from University's technical spaces, located in La Nau building of the UPF Campus in Poblenou. We can offer a recording room (51.001), a control room (51.002), a 5.1 surround post-production room (51.003), as well as a live-electronic music lab (51.004). These spaces are fully equipped and are used in artistic residences, educational activities, preparation of concerts, or meetings of the Phonos Makerspace. We also own a number of analog and digital synthesizers, although most of the material heritage of the Phonos Foundation has been transferred to Barcelona's Museu de la Música.

Studio reservation

Phonos studios can only be used by people linked to UPF and/or Phonos. Reservations for UPF associates must be managed from the secretary of each department. Phonos residents and collaborators can manage their reservations by sending an email to Andrés Lewin-Richter after checking the availability of the studios in the following links. Any reservation will not be effective until a confirmation is received:

Recording studio (51.001/51.002)

Post-production and surround sound studio (51.003)

Live-electronics lab (51.004)
