Last February 17 (2020), the Engineering and Information And Communication Technologies Academic Coordination Unit at Universitat Pompeu Fabra invited the Musical Bridges researcher Rafael Caro to its cycle of invited research seminars. On this occasion, Rafael Caro presented the current status of the Musical Bridges project, demonstrating the tools developed for the study of Hindustani and jingju music. At the end, he took as an example the prototype of the tool for Turkish makam music to show the capacity that these technologies can have to facilitate the knowledge of other cultures among the general society.
