Esperanza Herrero Andreu (Murcia, 1996) has a degree in Journalism and Information and Documentation from the University of Murcia (2019) and a Master's degree in Research Applied to Media from the Carlos III University of Madrid (2020). She is currently a FPU predoctoral researcher in the Department of Communication at the University of Murcia and a member of the FEMICOM research group where she is developing her doctoral thesis focused on the recovery of female contributions to the foundation of the field of communication theories. To do this, she is developing a proposal for a re-reading of the historiography of the field from the perspective of feminist epistemology, specifically from authors such as Sandra Harding, Miranda Fricker or bell hooks.
