Master's student Amaia Rodriguez Rementería presented the research paper titled 'Attitudes towards edited images in social media and image labeling: A possible preventive method to enhance audiovisual awareness' at the virtual and in-person EDUTEC 2022 International Conference held in Palma. 

The paper, written in collaboration with TIDE members Roberto Sánchez-Reina, Emily Theophilou, and Davinia Hernández-Leo, examines the application of labels to make social media users aware of edited and ultra-edited images. The results show that labels can increase image awareness to some extent and promote more natural image preferences. You can read the long paper abstract here.
