Two-stage Subject Assessment
Active learning practices, collaborative work and new educational methodologies in general highlight the need to incorporate new assessment methods which are in line with these new pedagogical approaches. The incorporation of collaborative exams in the university context (i.e. two-stage exams: first the student does their own self-assessment and after that a group assessment) allows assessment to be turned into a learning opportunity, while also increasing students’ competences in group-working and communication.
