Students and professors from the Faculty of Translation and Language Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities of UPF participate in the Goncourt Prize

Since 2017, Spain has participated in the Goncourt Prize, the most prestigious French award to a work of prose fiction, in the section in which different countries (currently 21) are asked to select a work written in French for it to be translated into their language. UPF is one of the seven Spanish universities that will participate in the selection of the work to be translated.

On the part of Translation and Language Sciences, the best students of the subject "Competence and use of French" will be the ones who will participate in the deliberation that will choose the literary work in the French language among the four works selected this year:

L’anomalie de Hervé Le Tellier (Gallimard)

L’historiographe du Royaume de Maël Renouard (Grasset)

Thésée, sa vie nouvelle de Camille de Toledo (Verdier)
