One of the fundamental characteristics of scientific work is planning. For this reason, it is considered necessary to visualize the importance of a working plan and periodization, a schedule. A detailed description of the steps to be followed to carry out, as well as detailing the activities and contents according to the different stages foreseen in the research project. This planning must also be reflected in a calendar, depending on the duration of each of the phases and in correspondence with the contents of the stages and the type of study to be carried out in each step, with the corresponding adequacy and temporal segmentation. A research budget needs to be developed to reflect the cost of research, funding, and the need to justify its convenience and social projection.
