Two of the main university rankings in the world, QS top 50 under 50 and Times Higher Education World University Ranking, published this week, bear witness to the University’s consolidation at international level.

In the QS ranking of the best young universities in the world under 50 years of age, UPF has again climbed positions and is now in 22nd place. Notable is its constant improvement in all three editions of the classification, after coming 31st in 2014 and 27th in 2015. It is the eighth in Europe and fourth in the State.

Its results have also improved in the general ranking drawn up by Times Higher Education. Despite falling to 175th position in the world, four of the five indicators evaluated score higher than the previous year and the overall calculation has risen from 51.2 to 52.8 points. The citations indicator, which stands at 93.1 points, 55th in the world and 15th in Europe, is worthy of note.

In addition, UPF also improves in the sections of international outlook (65.1), industry income (40.5), and research (33). The only indicator to slightly drop back, after five years of major increases, is teaching (30.3).
