Frederic Guerrero-Solé, appointed Honorary Lecturer of the School of Arts and Humanities by the University of Stirling

The lecturer of the department of Communication will hold this position until 2019 consolidating the close relationship established between the two universities that jointly teach the master’s degree in Strategic Communication & Public Relations.

From 1 May to 30 April 2019, Frederic Guerrero-Solé, lecturer of the Department of Communication at UPF, will be an Honorary Lecturer of the School of Arts and Humanities by the University of Stirling (United Kingdom).

This position will help consolidate the existing ties between the two universities that offer the joint university master’s degree in Strategic Communication & Public Relations taught entirely in English, whose students earn a joint qualification awarded by the two universities.

The lecturer Frederic Guerrero-Solé is a doctor in Public Communication by UPF (2011) and holds a degree in Theoretical Physics by the University of Barcelona (1996) and in Slavic Philology at the same University (2006). He is currently a professor and a researcher of the research group on Audiovisual Communication (UNICA), at the UPF Department of Communication. 

The areas in which he teaches are the sociology of communication, intercultural communication, and quantitative methods. His lines of research focus on the sociology of communication, the effects of the media and social networks.
