Lucía Fernández Melero is a junior researcher at RECSM for the WEB DATA OPP project. She has an academic background in social science research, with a degree in Sociology-International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), and a Research Master in Sociology and Demography obtained at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), focused on specialising in quantitative research techniques for the study of social phenomena. Her research interests focus on migration processes, inequalities arising from the climate crisis, and the intersection of gender in these issues
