On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, the second TRANSGANG TRAINING SEMINAR took place in the Communication Department of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. This cycle of seminars is organized by the European project Transnational Gangs as Agents of Mediation: Experiences of conflict resolution in youth street organizations in Southern Europe, North Africa and the Americas.

Cándida Chévez, local researcher of the TRANSGANG project in El Salvador, gave the seminar. In the seminar, entitled 'Gang transitions in El Salvador: a historical and generational perspective', Cándida Chévez did a historical view around gangs in El Salvador, focusing on how research has modified its conception and the public policies around them.
