11st TRANSGANG Seminar in Madrid

The Center for Studies on Youth, Society and Communication (JOVIS.com) and the University Institute for Research on Migration, Ethnicity and Social Development (IMEDES) organised the 1st TRANSGANG Seminar in Madrid on March 16, 2018.

The objective of the day was to raise awareness of the professionals, projects and different activities in the field of street youth organizations carried out in Madrid. Different approaches and perspectives to address the topic of street youth organizations by professionals from academia and social intervention were highlighted. And ways of possible interventions to be implemented in the Community of Madrid were suggested. The TRANSGANG project and the research carried out on youth groups in Madrid and Barcelona were also presented.

The principal investigator and the scientific coordinator of the TRANSGANG Project, Carles Feixa and José Sánchez and other experts such as Luca Queirolo, Raquel Bartolomé, Eduardo Cueto, Patricia González, Francisco Sáez, Kattya Núñez, José Luis Berrón, Inés Ruíz, Fernando Morán and María Oliver, participated in the seminar.
