TIDE participated in 6th ETIC Doctoral Student Workshop held in UPF on March 9th 2018

Marc Beardsley  and Roman Calvo from Interactive and Distributed Technologies for Education (TIDE) Group participated in 6th ETIC Doctoral Student Workshop held in Universitat Pompeu Fabra on March 9th 2018 . ETIC Doctoral Student Workshop is an annual workshop where PhD students can present their research outcomes to all members of the Department and the rest of the research community.

During the workshop Marc Beardsley presented his poster titled : Towards aligning teaching practice with the science of learning through technology-supported learning design. His research is supported by an Erasmus+ Project Illuminated – a pan-European project involving experts in the fields of neuroscience, education, and education technology.

Roman Calvo presented his poster titled : Technology ecosystem for workplace integrated learning, in which he explained investigations on how technology enhanced learning methodologies can be effectively utilised for employee training  in atuomotive industry considering difficulty of the learning objectives and the professional profile of the employees.
