TIDE delivered a training session about MOOCs within the PROMISE project meeting

On January 8th 2020, Laia Albó from TIDE research group delivered a one-day training session about MOOCs and Moodle at the second meeting of the PROMISE project at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) - Campus del Mar. Participants were the partners of the project coming from the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MedILS), the School of Medicine of the University of Split (UNIST), the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, the University of Zagreb (UNIZG), the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the European Alliance of Personalized Medicine (EAPM).

 

PROMISE project (Personalized Medicine Inquiry-Based Education), it is an European Commission funded project focused on the development of 4 "plug and play" blended-learning online modules, each covering a P in P4 medicine in light of the Responsible Research and Innovation principles. The main objective of the PROMISE project is to prepare medical and science students for the rapidly changing landscape of medical practice and research by creating innovative teaching tools and practices for inquiry-based online learning of P4 Medicine and Responsible Research and Innovation principles. Mainly, it aims to promote the appropriate training that develops the P4 medicine understanding and the skills to implement this new approach in medical schools and science programs in order to construct a cohesive basis of knowledge and skills that can be delivered as online and blended learning programs.
