Ishari Amarasinghe from Interactive and Distributed Technologies for Education (TIDE) Group participated in ACM Europe Celebration of Women in Computing, womENcourage 2017 held in Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain from September 06-08, 2017. womENcourage 2017 is a scientific event, as well as an event aimed at networking and exploring career opportunities for women in computer science and related disciplines. Ishari Amarasinghe presented her poster titled, "Learner Group Formation Using Constraint Optimisation". She has also received a participation scholarship to participate and present her poster at womENcourage 2017.
