TIDE showcases the Augmented Assessment Library at European Conference on Digital Transformation for Educational Innovation and Inclusion
The TIDE research group is set to be present at the European Conference titled ‘Digital transformation for educational innovation and inclusion.’ The conference, hosted by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, aims to foster dialogue and support the educational and scientific communities in embracing digital transformation and innovation in education.
The Digital transformation for educational innovation and inclusion conference will take place on November 2, 2023, at the Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center (KEDEA). The event is expected to provide insights and resources for participants to explore the growing significance of digital literacy, inclusion, and the promotion of 21st-century skills in education.
One of the highlights of the conference will be the presentation of the Augmented Assessment Library by J. Roberto Sánchez-Reina, researcher representing the TIDE research group. The Augmented Assessment Library is a pioneering contribution of TIDE to the Augmented Assessment project, which seeks to enhance students' integration and inclusion in the educational process through the use of augmented reality tools.
The Augmented Assessment project, coordinated by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, was successfully implemented from 2020 to 2023. During the project's implementation, an innovative approach was developed to assess students' knowledge in the field of science using augmented reality tools.
The conference offers a unique opportunity for researchers, educators, and professionals to explore the potential of augmented reality in transforming education and promoting inclusion. The gathering promises to be a valuable exchange of ideas and best practices, contributing to the ongoing efforts to revolutionize education in the digital age.
