Final presentations of the Makers a les Aules project at the Ramon Berenguer III school

06.03.2019

Today, March 6th 2019, the 6th grade class of the Ramon Berenguer III school has successfully completed the project Makers a les Aules.

Throughout the four sessions of the project, it has been learned the Scratch programming language and how to use the Makey Makey kit in the classroom. With these two tools, students have worked on geography content developing different interactive maps that allow the reproduction of animations on the different continents. These animations have been created by themselves from experimentation with the use of images and the creation of movement and sound through Scratch.

In the fifth and last session, it has been done a visit to the Trinitat Vella José Barberó library to present the final result of the different works and to participate in a Stop-motion workshop.

The elaboration of this work has allowed the students to develop competencies from the STEAM fields as well as Design Thinking and Computational Thinking.

Both students and teachers are satisfied with the development of the project Makers a les Aules.
