Funded by the Ministerio de Industria Turismo y Comercio, Simplext aims at the development of a text simplification system in the Spanish language for people with special needs. The TALN group at UPF works on the Natural Language Processing aspects of the project, developing text-to-text generation and summarization techniques for text simplification.
