Biography

Zoe Thomson is a PhD candidate in the Political and Social Sciences department at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a member of the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology. Her doctoral research focuses on affective polarisation seen as a form of intergroup conflict, under the supervision of Prof. Mariano Torcal. She has published in Electoral Studies and is currently co-authoring a chapter for the Comparative Handbook of Affective Polarization (Eds. M. Torcal & E. Harteveld). She also worked on the TRI-POL project, which looked into affective polarisation in five countries.
