Biography

Jorge Cimentada is a computational social scientist with a PhD in Sociology from Pompeu Fabra University. He belongs to the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM) and is currently working in the private sector as a data scientist. His main research interests are the applications of machine learning for social science problems, statistical software development and social science methodology as applied to big data. He's substantive interests include social mobility, social inequality and the impact of COVID-19 on society.
