I finished my PhD in Psychology at Universitat Jaume I in 2013. It was focused on study the neurobiological bases of individual differences in reward processing. Then, I started a post-doctoral training at Universitat Jaume I where I was involved in diverse research projects related with the study of the neural bases of cocaine addiction, the development of biological markers for Alzheimer disease using MRI and the study of bilingualism effects on cognitive control. In 2016, I was awarded the post-doctoral fellowship “Juan de la Cierva - formación” to join the Interdisciplinary Research Structure for Reading Research at the Universitat de Valencìa. Now, I am working at the Speech Production and Bilingualism group of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra with a post-doctoral fellowship “Juan de la Cierva – incorporacion”. Currently, my research is focused on investigate how foreign language might affect emotional processing. I’m also involved in the study of bilingualism as cognitive reserve factor in Alzheimer disease.
