Mireia holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona and a MSc in Computational Biomedical Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In 2019 she started a PhD at the SIMBIOsys group, under the supervision of Gemma Piella. Her main interest is to develop methods for the integration of heterogeneous data and development of explanatory machine learning models.
