I’m interested in understanding how the information in the human brain is processed and integrated to conform our particular experience of the world, and how this conditions our perception and behavior. I studied Computer Science at Universitetet i Oslo, Norway, where I obtained my MSc. degree in mathematical modeling and in 2012 I obtained the PhD degree in signal processing from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. I 2015 I joined the Computational Neuroscience Group (CNS) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, lead by Prof. Gustavo Deco, to collaborate with the development of mathematical neuro-dynamic models for the human brain. I also worked as a professor for undergraduate courses in engineering at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies (DTIC) of the UPF from 2015 to 2018. In June 2018 I joined the Speech Acquisition and Perception Group, lead by Prof. Nuria Sebastian-Galles, to collaborate with the ERC funded project Under Control. My working areas include the analysis of EEG, MEG and fMRI brain images and the study of new whole-brain dynamical models.
