BONATTI, LUCA LORENZO
I am ICREA Research Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain. I have been full professor at the University of Nantes, France, associate professor at the University of Paris 8, France, and research associate at SISSA/ISAS, Italy. I have also been visiting professor at the University of Budapest, Hungary, at the University of the Balearic Islands, Spain, and at New York University. I received my PhD in Philosophy of Mind at Rutgers, under the supervision of Jerry Fodor, and my "Laurea" in philosopy at the University of Milan, under the supervision of Andrea Bonomi. I am interested in reasoning, language learning, imagination of physical events, infant cognition, and everything else you want to pay me for. Typically, research questions I ask in my laboratory are of this sort: How do infants know what happens next? What kinds of information can they extract from the environment to anticipate future events? Do they have a sense of what is probable and what is improbable? If so, where does this sense come from?
