Eight months into the mandate, it has been deemed appropriate to apply a slight modification to the University’s management structure, by way of defining the responsibilities of the two vice-rectors to the rector, with the aim of driving and strengthening the strategic projects that are currently underway.

Firstly, a new vice-rector to the rector position has been created which, besides the current role regarding teaching staff and community relations, will coordinate the University’s strategic orientation; and secondly, it has been established that the current vice-rector to the rector will focus their attention on coordinating management actions, institutional and administrative planning and relations within the framework of the UPF Group.

Therefore, by virtue of the authority granted me by Article 55.2 of the Statutes of Pompeu Fabra University,

I HEREBY RESOLVE TO:

Modify the rector’s Resolution of 28 May 2021, modified by the Resolution of 31 May 2021 and by the Resolution of 22 September 2021 on the structure of the offices of the vice-rectors and the General Secretariat, in accordance with the following terms:

Third. Article 7 of the Resolution is removed, which regulated the vice-rector of Teaching Staff and Community Relations’ coordination and supervision of different matters, under the guidance of the rector.

Fourth. Articles 3, 4, 5 and 6 now become articles 4, 5, 6 and 7, respectively.

Fifth. A new Article 3 is added, which reads as follows:

Article 3. Vice-rector to the rector for Teaching Staff and Community Relations
