The Resolution dated 28 May 2021 established the structure of the offices of vice-rectors and of the General Secretariat at the beginning of the rector’s new mandate. It has subsequently become apparent that, given their cross-disciplinary nature, matters related to language policy, initially assigned to the office of the vice-rector for Internationalization, should be attributed to the office of the vice-rector to the rector, which is also responsible for the functional area of coordinating governance and cross-disciplinary projects.

 

Therefore, by virtue of the powers vested in me in accordance with Articles 55.2 and 56 g) of the Statutes of Pompeu Fabra University and for the purposes of structuring the offices of the vice-rectors and of the General Secretariat and assign duties to them,

 

I HEREBY RESOLVE:

 

To amend the Resolution of 28 May 2021 on the structure of the offices of vice-rectors and of the General Secretariat incorporating “Language policy” to Article 2 among the matters coordinated and supervised  by the vice-rector to the rector; and eliminating “Language policy” from Article 6 of the matters coordinated and supervised by the vice-rector for Internationalization.
