The Research Group on Integrative Biomedical Informatics is a joint research group of IMIM-Hospital del Mar Research Institute and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) led by Dr. Ferran Sanz and Dra. Laura Furlong. The group focuses on develop methods and tools for the identification and use of clinically actionable information, with a special focus in methods that promote an understanding of human health and disease.
The main research lines are:
- Development of new strategies and tools for knowledge extraction and linkage from biomedical literature and other publicly available sources.
