Synopsis

An experimental film, Time Metallurgist uses artificial intelligence to work with contemporary materials, attempting to reconstruct what happened in California in the second half of the 19th century. Muybridge came to the Wild West at the invitation of Leland Stanford, the builder of the transcontinental railroad, which was one of the main architects of the massacre of Native Americans and buffalo. A few years later, he became a major force in twentieth-century cybernetics and artificial intelligence research. Muybridge is our guide through these turbulent times.
