What role does AI play for the future of production? With this key question in mind the showroom of the AI Production Network at the University of Augsburg and its partners - DLR ZLP and Fraunhofer IGCV - allows visitors to engage with various AI-technology. As the chair of Human-Centered AI of Augsburg University is strongly involved in the AI Production Network, it presents the Affect Mirroring Demo developed in the scope of PRESENT. The Demo was improved and adapted to fit the target audience of production industry and is now a permanent exhibit. With interactions such as this, companies can experience how AI can be a crucial part in optimizing processes and workflows.

The AI Production Network Augsburg is an association of the University of Augsburg with the Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV, the Augsburg Center for Lightweight Production Technology (ZLP) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. The aim is joint research into AI based production technologies at the overlap between materials, manufacturing technologies, data-based modeling and digital business models.
