From April 12th to 14th 2022 Inria's Virtus team will be present with a stand at Laval Virtual, a leading virtual and augmented reality exhibition helded in Laval, France

From April 12th to 14th 2022 Inria's Virtus team will be present with a stand at Laval Virtual, a leading virtual and augmented reality exhibition helded in Laval, France.
During the three days of the exhibition Inria will showcase various immersive experiences. Using VR headset visitors will be able to explore environments populated with virtual agents and virtual crowds. Two of these experiences were developed in the context of the PRESENT project:
- The "giant demo" makes you embody an oversize avatar that scares virtual agents in a virtual representation of the city of Rennes. Thanks to Interaction fields techniques and the gaze model of PRESENT, see yourself startle humans that flee to hiding at each of your simple moves.
- The "proximity demo'' allows the users to experience a photorealistic virtual metro in VR, where they can observe the characters and move through the metro to exit through one of the doors. The main focus is on the realistic experience and we are interested in their proximity depending on agent characteristics when moving through the virtual environment.
