The Department of Political and Social Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University is opening a 5-year full time tenure track position in the area of sociology with specialization in welfare and social exclusion.

We seek a candidate whose research profile focuses on social policy analyses, which can include, inter alia, social disadvantage, childhood and adult poverty, housing and urban inequalities, social policies, and crime.

We prioritize candidates with a strong background in quantitative methods, and with experience in research and teaching. Applicants should hold a PhD, preferably in Sociology, Demography, Social Statistics and Criminology.
