GRITIM-UPF, an Interdisciplinary Research Group on Immigration at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Catalonia), is opening a preselection process to receive candidacies for a Part-Time Lecturer to teach a course under the Master in Migration Studies. 

Requirements:

1. Curriculum Vitae
2. A motivation letter indicating a) key contents you would incorporate into this course, b) teaching experience and c) confirmation the candidate fulfills the condition of  compatibilities to be contracted with a part-time Lecturer profile (Profesor Asociado). You can check the conditions here.
3. A pdf version of two of your best publications (preferably those related to the content of the course)

About the course: This is a new course based on Postcolonial studies and migration studies, focused on the Mediterranean. The idea is to incorporate multiple forms of narrating migration, as well as to incorporate postcolonial thinking, and on how far history can become a variable to understanding current migration governance.

Conditions: 3 hours/week for 10 weeks, during the second trimester of the Master program, January to April 2022.

Salary: Usual UPF standards
