Presentation -  Demographic Change, Normativity, and Parenthood among Non-Heterosexual People

Abstract

Narratives of demographic change have often ignored the family lives of marginalised groups in society. In this presentation, we show how the family trajectories of non-heterosexual people have been changing over time, which obstacles remain toward achieving family-related goals in life, and how this knowledge can help us understand demographic change more generally.
