Patricia Garcia received her PhD in Information and Communication Technologies by Universitat Pompeu Fabra in July 2015. She carried out her doctoral studies in collaboration with the Fetal i+D Research Group. In July 2011, she received a MSc degree in Biomedicine from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Spain. She graduated in Electrical Engineering by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain in 2010. Patricia was awarded a predoctoral PFIS fellowship, by the Instituto Carlos III de Salud (ISCIII), Spain, to perform her doctorate studies.

Her main research focus on computational models of the fetal cardiovascular system.
